TRINITY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, CAMBRIDGE.
Tiik annual meeting of the congregation of the above Church was held on lluirsday evening at 7.00 p.m. The attendance w;is (Ufill, The Revs. R. S"in:o- rville and D. J. Steele attended as delegates from the Auckland Presbytery, and previous to the .ordinary business put the usual questions to the minister (Rev, \Y. Evans), eldcis and committee of management, after which several members of the congregation asked questions regarding the sustentation fund. These were answered by Rev. L ' ■inmerville, and he and Rev. Steele then retired to draw up their report, which will be read at the usual service on Sunday morning next. The Rev. W Evans then took the chair, and the report of the Management Committee was taken, which showed that the past year had begun with a debit balance of £(i os 3d, which had increased to £2!) 10s Dd, making a total loss in w-rkinf, of over £2-1 for the twelve months. This was in a great measure accounted for by the subscriptions towards the cut of renovating and repairing the manse falling short of the required sum. The subscription to stipend fund had fallen from £107 in 188(5 to £08 last year ; and in like manner the plate collections had fallen from £120 to £107, many subscribers left the district, and few new names being added to the list. The report was adopted, as were also the Financial and Sub-committees report Mr Fisher then proposed and Mr Campbell seconded " That the incoming comrnitto 'vi instructed to take steps to wipe off t 1 : . Heiency by direct subscription. Carr I Whu Committee of Management were then appointed as follows :— Town : MessrJ. Ferguson, J. Sharp, G. Campbell and .1. McMillan. Suburb*: Messrs J. Dykes and C. Young. Hautnpu: Messrs W. Russell and T. Brown. I'iikcrimu : Messis J. Scott and A. Wallace. Tauwhure : Mr C. Shaw. it Psalmody Committee: Messrs ]*. J. Brooks, R. W. Sargent and .1. Ferguson. Treasurer, Mr F. J, Brooks; secretary, Mr R. W. Sargent. Tho usual vote of thanks closed the pro ceedings. Subscriptions amounting to £2 10s wa.i promised by those present towards wiping off the deficiency. I
