Notices- ' MANUREST Tub Frbkmng Company, Auckland. R« September G, 1887 Enclosed please find order. . . In December I shall require a few ton* good Bot.es and buperphosplmto The Bones and Superphosphate supplied last year gave good results. Although a dry season I have a good crop of Swedes. The Corn Manure also gave good results on the growing Oats. Yours truly, W. Gardner, Manager Hon. J. Williamson's Estate. Tn« Freezing Company, Auckland. Waitoa Estate, Wailiou September 2, 1887 Your Manures were used upon this Estate for the Turnip crop last season at the rite of lewt. each ot Superphosphate 25 per cent, and Bonedust per acre. The results are very satisfactory, and the crop compares verv favourably with that of the previous season, when Lives' 3G per cent. Superphosphates were used at the same rates. Our Swede crop has been carrying sheep at the rate of 160 per acre per week, and many of the roots weigh up to Hlbs and 161bs. G. L. Grant, Manager. Panmure, Ist July, 1887. TIIE DjrrSlL-I ytu to kTw that I am greatly pleased with the Manure which I had from you last March. You will remember that I intended to use Bonedust only, but on your recommendation, and a good deal against my own inclination, I gave a 33-acre field of Swedes at my Te Awamutu farm a dressing ot your Special Dissolved Bone Manure. Ido not hesitate to say that the crop has been three times as heavy as I had looked for-that is, three times as much as I had ever grown on the same paddock with any other Manures. Many of the Swedes were 30 inches in circumference. I have also used your Grass Manure on new grass with extraordinary results. The sheep running on this grass have improved very rapidly, and I consider that 1 have realised better prices for them as a result of the use of the Manure. English Phosphates, costing me £o per ton mo™, have not yielded me results to be compared with those I have had since usi»g yours—which is ever since your started. You may make any use you like of this letter. J i ours truly, Roger Kay. CHEMICAL WOBKST^^hT 11 " , AUCKLAND. LONDON A! BERLIN PIANO GO'S.
