LATEST AUCKLAND NEWS.
[BY TELEGRAPH. — OWN COMtKSI'OXDKXT.] Auckland, Wednesday. The police have arrested a lal named McDowell iit Henderson, charged with being concerned in the robbery of the yacht Malua. McDowell admits his guilt, and criminates Moloney, tlio man already in custody. In the Supremo Court to-dny the case of Jackson v. the New Zealand Native Lands Settlement Company was brought up. Tliis was an 'application for tlie removal of the name of William Jackson from the register of shareholders. On the application of Mr Button the matter was allowed to stand ■>ver until the next banco sitting, after his honor's return from Gisborno. Bucldand and Co. held the third wool sale of the season at the Queen-street room* tins morning. There was a pood attendance, and satisfactory prices were obtained. B. Tonics and Co. held soma very important sales of city properties, etc., to-day at their auction mart in Queen-street. Bidding was not, however, brisk.
