New York, January 7. Mr Joseph Chamberlain, M.P., Chief British Commissioner for the Canadian fisheries arbitration, has iuduced Canada to drop its demands for a reciprocal trade with the United States. Tho Commission will probably recommend that the fishery rights in Canadian waters should be referred to arbitration.
