PUKEKURA ROAD BOARD.
An extraordinary meeting of tho trustees of the above Board was held at the residence of Mr Gana on the 24th December. Present : Messrs Gane, R. Fisher and H. Kusabs. The following tenders were received for earthworks on Watson's road as advertised :—Giles and Fletcher, £18 (lump sum); Richard Norrish, £15 (lump sum). It was resolved that the tender of R. Norrish be accepted. The tender of Tims. Cowley for the road at Organ's Hill, being tho lowest, viz., 7d per cubic yard, was accepted. A letter was received from R. Norrish, asking to lengthen Hughes and Norrish's Road about 12 chains. Letter received. The tender of Thomas Hughes and Co., for the road at Karl's gate, was received.
