TliP.follmving hnrsc< arrived from Auckland by the late train yesterday evening; the others :tri'. to arrive to-day. Wapiti, Black Joe, Sir Walter, Whalebone and Fnirplay. Mensrs li'akio, Morris and Davidson, the bookmakers also came up yestorday. Mr T. Brown, the woll-krmwn huntsman "f tho Paknrnnßa Hounds, and Mr F. Marks, clerk of scales, arrived by the late train last night, and in company with the Secretary to the Club, went over and inspected the course, and expressed themselves very pleased with it.
