The Sugar Koanti.-s Conference had under discussion the report of the subcommittee chanted to consider certain technical questions. In their report the sub 'committee express the opinion that it is possible to arrange for a settlement of tiie fiscal difficulty touching refining in bond and recommend taking : elided sugar as cross consumption. The Conference referred the report to the carious Cabinets, and it is hoped an agreement will he arnv-d at.
