Messes Wsi. Ixglis & Sox Report fur the week ending November ISth : Fat Cat it.::.—Upon both occasions this week the supply lias been very large, 1130 being penned at Homehush fur Monday’s market when the attendance of buyers was numerous, and prices fairly maintained. The principal sales were 24G bullocks from Nocatinga, £G Ss 2d; 1-18 bullocks from Baerami, £0 ‘.ls 3d; 125 bullocks from Queensland, £(i 13s 4d ; and 100 bullocks from Dubbo, £0 4s. To-day 1314 were yarded, a number very' much in excess of recpiirements, and a considerable decline in prices took place, The highest average was ,£G 15s 3d for 111! bullocks from Toorale, a large lot of 220 bullocks from Murra Morra bringing £li 3s yd ; and another of 300 from Nocatinga, £5 llis. A large draft of 242 cows from .Sooth Camongin averaged £1 4s (id. At onr Sydney yards fat and dry cattle sale this afternoon biddings were fairly brisk, one fat cow reaching £T 13s. At Darling Harbour meat market prime quality was in good demand, but all other meat very dull of sale. We quote— Best Beef 10s per 100 lbs. Fair 14s ~ Middling 12s ~ Siikki I .—There has been a moderate number upon both sale days, 12,200 on Monday. when prime quality was a shade firmer than last week, other sorts being unaltered. To-day 14,280 were penned, and prices remained at Monday’s values. Principal sales wore 2030 wethers from Warrah, Os 4d to 10s 3d ; 1700 wethers from Walhallow, 7s Oil to 7s lid; 1180 wethers from Bangate, 8s Id to 0s 7d ; and 1320 ewes from Jenlderie, 5s 5d to (is Gd. We quote— Best wethers in fleece 0s Gd to 10s Gd Good ditto 8s to 0s Others from Gs up Shorn wethers and ewes in proportion. MII.OU Cows. —There was a larger number in than usual (p-day, and though firstelass cows evoked fair competition the market was dull and dragging for all others. We quote Best cows £8 to £lO 10s Good £G to £7 Others from £4 10s up Calves. —The supply has been larger this week, but market continued very brisk, and satisfactory prices were obtained for all that came to hand. We quote— Large and prime 40s to G5? Medium 30s to 35s Small 15s to 25s Lamhs.—A good number were down at Humebush this week, but not many for the Sydney market. Trices remain at last week’s rates. We quote— Best Sato 10s fid Others from 5s up. Tigs.—A smaller number than usual came in per coast this week, but arrivals par rail have been large. From Colburn alone we received nearly 500, The market was brisk throughout, and last week’s rates well maintained. We quote— Heavy 31d to 4d per lb. Medium 41d to s,}d ~ Light 5.', d to sid ~ Store Tigs ... Sis (id to22sfid each House Retort.—Fewer horses have come forward during the past fortnight than for some time past, which has had a tendency to harden sales. We sold, at the Bazaar, on account of Mr H. Heggarty, New Zealand, a small shipment of 20 draughts per s.s. Hauroto.
