Fat C.U'i'U'.—Bso head were yarded at 1 liiinubiish mi Monthly, when the market was very firm throughout, with an advance of us to 10s per head upon best quality. The hightin-t average was for a draft of 99 bullocks from Queensland that made £7 5s Oil, another lot of HiO from Oakrange bringing £•! Ills, anil 177 cows from Norley, £5 iis. To-day, (Thursday) S-i'j were forward, sales lini.dicd weaker, and prices reverted again to hist week s rates. The highest average was £7 'Js 7d for a small draft from Orange, another lot of 108 from Bourke making £7 Its. At onr sain yards this afternoon the fat and dry cattle market was fairly brisk, but tho sales of killed beef and mutton at Darling Harbour have been dnher than last week owing to the heat of the weather. We quote— Best beef 17s per 100 lbs Fair lus ~ Middling XJs ,Sheec. —B9OO wore forward at Homobnsh mi Monday, and the market firm. A very large number (flfl.flCO) were forward today, but though the market gave way at the commencement it hardened as sales proceeded, and closed at Monday’s rates. Principal sales were 2030 wethers from Wai rah, 9s lOd to 10s (id j 1300 wethers from Bangate, 10s od to 10s (id; 1000 wether-' from Waihallow, 10s Id to 10s -Id ; 2100 shorn wethers from Cnrrandooiey, 7s Id to 8s 91 ; and 1300 shorn ewes, 7s 7d to 7s !od. Wc quote; Best wothors in fleece... 10s lid to 12s Gnnd ditto 9s to I.os Others From Os fid up Shorn wethers and ewes in proportion. Mll.ni Gown.—A moderate number were in at onr sale yards to-day, and good animals brought fair prices; we am, however, nimble to yet report any improvement in the market. We quote : Best cows ... ... £3 to £ll Good ... ... ... 0i to £7 Cithers From £1 10s up Calves.— There was a better supply this week, but not more than sufficient for requirements, and any good ones brought satisfactory prices. We quote; Largo aud prime 40s to (Jus Medium 30s to 35s Small 15s to 25s Lambs.—There was a large supply both at Homohush and Sydney, and prices easier. We quote : Best 8s to 10s (id Olliers From 5s lid up Pins.—A good number arrived per rail and coast, though tho supply was not so large as last week. Market continued brisk, all to hand making satisfactory prices.
