A daring escape from the T'reeinantle Haul has been made bv three prisoners. The names of the men are William Thomas 'a notorious bushranger), Thomas Hughes, and Jarvis. The two latter attacked and disarmed the guard, compelling him to give them a number of cartridges and the keys in his possesssion. They then proceeded to lock the guard in the closet, and iinally made their escape The police are out in pursuit.
Latest. The police are actively searching for the three men who recently escaped from the LTeemantle Gaol, hut it is believed the latter haw coufederates in the hush. The authorities of the prison are greatly blamed for the lax system of supervision exercised over that establishment.
Sydney, November 17. In the Assembly last evening, the Land Bill was re-introduced, and was found to be practically the same as the Bill that had been withdrawn. The Premier announced that the Government was determined to carry the Bill before the prorogation, and to meet obstruction they would, if necessary, use Parliamentary force. The Public Works Bdl was also introduced in the Assembly last night.
