CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE WAIKATO HOSPITAL.

TO TUB EDITOR. Sin, —I think Mr Kobcrtson is very much tube commanded for his donation of £lO towards the funds of the Waikato Hospital. This is an institution that is sure to be always warmly assisted by the men on the railway works ; and in saying this 1 wish to draw attention to the fact that whilst Mr O’Brien was here, the men employed on his contract subscribed £2o for tlie Hospital, and continued to give sixpence per week out of lhair wages. 1 believe as much as 010 was collected altogether. Mr O’Brien's son was the trea-nre of the fund. If the money has imt been handed over yet, application might to be made to the right parties for it. 1 am, yours truly, Pick and Shovel. Te Kuili, Ist November.
