A juki-ital for animals will soon lie erected in London, and at the same time free dispensaries will be opened, where tiie horses, donkeys, cuts. dogs, and bird* o: the poor can be treated when ill Americas Lick -Stock ami Fkk-ii Meat Imports.—The folloivinii steamers arrived in the Mersey in one week with live stock and fresh meat from American and Canadian ports:—The Mcntmo'--, with 520 cattle ; the Palestine, with 3'5 cuttle and 715 quarters of beef; the M intreal, with 303 cuttle and 431 sheep; the Luke Xepigon, with 201 cattle and 279 sheep ; the Paiumia. with 2032 quarters af heef; the Britannic, with 7GO quarters of beef, and the Wisconsin, with 1000 quarters of beef ; the total arrivals being 1474 cattle, 712 sheep, and 5107 quarters of beef. As compared with the figures of the preceeding week these show an increase of 149 cattle and 435 sheep, but a decrease of 10S2 quarters of beef.
