Co-operative Aoricultcke.— At the luncheon following the agricultural -how of the Mashamshire Agricultural Show recently, Mr S. Cunliffe Lister spoke upon co-operatien in relation to agriculture. Ho did not anticipate any immediate improvement either in trade or agriculture, and said that landlords and tenants would have to face lower remuneration. A great deal of the profits went into the poebets of the middlemen. W hat was wanted was to get more into the pockets of the farmer, aud this end, he believed, could be attained by cooperation.
