AIKATO COUNTY. BY-lAW marie under provision contained in Sections SOU to 311 Counties Act, 1886, by special order of the Waikato County at a special meeting, held on Friday, the 28 th day of September, 1887, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting,held on Friday, the. 23rd of October, 1887, and sealed with the county common seal. To regulate the pace at which animals and vehicles may be crossed, driven, led or taken over any bridge situated within the County of Waikato, including the Narrows Bridge, which is partly in the Comity of Waipa, but under control of the Waikato County Council. On and after the 15th day of November, 1887, any person guilty of any of the following offences, omission or neglect within the Comity of Waikato, or upon the Narrows Bridge, shall, on being convicted of any such offence, neglect or omission, be liable to pay any penalty not exceeding live pounds (€5). Any person driving any vehicle or riding, driving or leading any animal across any bridge within the Comity of Waikato, inelndin the Narrows Bridge, at other than A WALKING PACE shall be deemed guilty of an offence under this By-law. The land to be taken contains by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 25 perches, more or less Any person affected hereby is called on to set forth in writing any wellfounded objection to the taking of the land within -10 days from the date of this notice, ami to send any such objection to the Chairman Waikato County Council, Hamilton.
