The day being a public holiday, the attendance <>f buyers was very small. The market fell considerably, best beef being woitii not more than lbs (pier IGOIbs. The highest arm-age was t‘S U- 10d, fp'rasmall draft of -10 bullocks from Tenaudra, the hugest spiles being 11b birloeks from Vairamau at tb 14s 3d, and lift) from Pangee at t'b Its till. To-day (Thursday) there was another large supply, 1)18 head being offered, and though the attendance of havers was better, prices sbipwed no improvement. The highest average was t'7 Its bij, for a small hit of J4 bullocks from Kelso, a largo draft of 3IS from Ihigbtmi Downs milking tb 10s Id, and another of 107 from Fanlight t'b 17s. The fat and dry cattle sale at unr Sydney Yards this afternoon was dull, and the dead meat market at Darling Harbour is lower, but the fall is less in proportion than at Homebnsh.
