Nomination 10s., acceptance 10s, with a sweep of 1 sov. each for starters, to go to second horse. NOVEL HACK, of 15 sovs. Distance, once round the course. Winner to be sold immediately after the race, the whole of the proceeds to go to the funds of the club. Weight lOst. Entrance 15s. WAIKATO HUNT HANDICAP STEEPLECHASE of 25 sovs. Second horse to receive 5 sovs. from the stakes. Twice round Cambridge Steeplechase course. Nomination Iss. acceptances 15s. LADIES BRACELET, for bracelet value 10 sovs. All horses to be nominated by ladies. Weight liyrs. lOst. P2lbs; •lyrs. list, nibs; syrs. list. )21bs; liyrs and aged 11st. No allowances. Distance 1.1 miles. Entrance 10s. TALLY-HO HANDICAP STEEPLECHASE, of 15 sovs. Sweep of 1 sov. each for starters to go to second horse. Distance about 21 miles. Handicap to appear immediately after Waikato Hunt Steeplechase. Acceptances close with the Secretary half-un-hour prior to race. Nomination 10s., acceptance, 10s.
CONDITIONS. Entrance for Hunt Handicap Hurdles, Waikato Hunt Steeplechase and Tally-ho Steeplechase, to he forwarded with performances, colours, age, and pedigree of horse ; addressed to the Secretary, Cambridge, not later than S p.m. on Thursday, d()th October. Weights to appear in Waikato Times on Tuesday, doth October. Acceptances and General entry close at S p.m, on Wednesday, 26th October. No entry will be received for any of the races except under the conditions “That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing, shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint, and their decision shall be final. All protests to be accompanied by a deposit of 2sovs., which will be forfeited to the funds of the Club should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious. Gentleman riders for all races except Novel race. Any person riding except in the colours entered will be fined Isov. No nomination or acceptance will bo received on any pretence whatever, after the hour named ; or without being accompanied by the necessary amount in cash. All horses to qualify must have hunted to the satisfaction of the Master of the Hounds. Nominators of horses in races Nos. 1, 3, and o, must be subscribers of not less than one guinea to the Waikato Hunt Club. Horses running in races Nos. 1, I, and n, to bo owned and ridden by settlers in Waikato, Waipa, Piako, and Raglan counties, or members of Pakuranga Hunt Club, The new rules of the Auckland Racing Club will be strictly adhered to, W.
