I had no authority for stat iug to anyone that the uflidavit verifying the said Bill of Sale was invalid, and 1 am fully satisfied that such affidavit is correct in every particular. The objections which, I was advised, were fatal to the validity of the said Bill of Sale referred solely to the question of consideration as between Hughes and bis wife, and these objections in no way reflected upon yon as the Solicitor acting in the matter.
