Jn tincourse of tlie jn-M -i.cdings Mr Harrington, who do nih-d U Brien, accursed the Dovernm.-nt of purposely suppressing the true version of O’Brien's speech, and called upon the Crown Counsel to substantiate his statement, w ho, however, denied the truth of the allegation against the Covernment. The bar of magistrates thereupon rebuked Mr Harrington, and threatened his ejectment from the Court if such accusations were repeated, Mr Harrington thereupon abandoned tincase. O’Brien was found guilty, and sentenced to two month’s imprisonment upon two charges, tinsentences to be concurrent. He was admitted to bail, pending an appeal upon the first sentence.
