1 3 'UK FOLK* »WI.V KSTI.MOXIALS JL Show the ‘v nf LAMB’S PATENTPORfiISGE MEAL. Auckland, July 14, ISS7. John Lamb, Esq. Dear Sir,—lt lias been nn my mind for some lime nmv to drop jam a line about your Patent Porridge Meal. I believe you are aware I have suffered considerably from injury to the stomach from .ea-tast-ing, and having consulted my medical adviser, he strongly recommended Porridge for breakfast, which 1 have taken until I heard of your Patent Porridge Meal. I may here say the Oatmeal soon caused unpleasantness, sourness of the stomach, and pimples and spots, with irritation, on the surface of the body. From this I was glad to get away, and at once took to nrar Patent Porridge Meal. With it I find none of the irregularities complained of above, but a most pal table Porridge, and the whole sy.-tem free from unpleasantness or irritation. I Can strongly recommend it, and certainly think yon should do a large trade in such an excellent article.— Yours very truly, (Signed) FKKDIC. WHITEHEAD. Industrial School, Iv-lumarama, Auckland, June 2, 18c7. Mr John Lamb. Sir, —\\ e have now been using your Patent Porridge Meal at this school Dr two months, and I consider it but right I . inform you that we all (stalf, as well as boys) like it so well that I would find it a difficult matter to get them to return to using oatmeal. It is without a doubt a splendid article of diet. I mav add on my representing to the Education Department in Wellington that I was using you Patent Porridge Meal instead of Oatmeal, I received authority from Rev. Mr Habens, Secretary for Education, to continue its use in the school.—Yours faithfully. (Signed) GEORGE P. HOG AX. Manager. Ponsonby, Auckland, May 30, lt*7. Mr John Lamb. Dear Sir,—l think it a duty to let you know results of your Patent Porridge Meal Oil our youngest boy. He was weaklv, and refused every food preparation that could be got, but upon getting some of yours be tookto it at once, and afterwards nothin” would satisfy him but this porridge. Five or six times a day is not too much for him, and seeing it being prepared lie cried until he got it. He is now strong and healthy, and can eat anything. Wishing yon success. —I remain, yours, &e., (Signed) W. CARDER. Orphan Home, Parnell, May 25, IS£7. Mr John Lamb :
