(by TELEGRAPH— OWN CORRESPONDENT.! MAKHTU, Monday. The natives are commencing to assemble here to get ready for the Land Court. It has been blowing a gale of wind for the past three days. Vegetable growth is not so far advanced hero by three weeks as it is at Rotorua.
ftiV TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] GKEYMOOTH, Monday. A tree fell across Mrs Clarke's board-ing-house, at Spring Creek hill, eleven people were inside at the time, one had his leg broken and back injured. A little girl was seriously injured. The house and contents were wrecked.
