Canterbury v. Wairarapa.
[bt TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION. ] Mastkrton, Wednesday. Canterbury won the match by a try to ml. The ground was very wet, ami interfered with the pleasure of the game. Roth teams played a good open game, distinguished by some admirable rushes and nae kicking \\ heatman crossed the line once for \\ airarajia, but lost the ball, and Canterbury were forced down twice to M airarapa’s once, and the local team may be said to have had the best of the game after the try had been scored, as they more often endangered the visiters’ goal than they were called on to defend their own. There was a fair attendance, and great interest was taken in the game.
