Lord Rosebery yesterda}’ addressed a meeting of manufacturers and others at Manchester with a view to promote the Melbourne Kxhibition. His Lordship said it was difficult to overrate the advantagewhich an adequate representation would bring to British trade, and he expressed a hope that the Exhibition would assist in fostering art in the colonies.
