THE WAIPA ELECTION.
Mr Campbell at Churchill-
Mu Thomas Cam imikli. addressed the electors of Waipa in the sclioolroom, Churchill, on Saturday. There were 30 present, which was a srood attendance, Mr J, H. Graham being in the chair. Mr Campbell delivered an able speech, and expressed himself in favour of retrenchment, abolition of universities and high schools, and m favour of Valle’s railway scheme. Mr Graham read a letter from his father, Mr Graham, of Hrighton, an old and highlyesteemed colonist, showing AT? Campladl’s views to be identical with his on many subjects. A vote of hearty thanks to Mr Campbell for his able address, with the usual compliment co the chairman, terminated the meeting, which gave great satisfaction to all present. —(A correspondent).
