CAMBRIDGE ROAD BOARD.
Tun above board mot on Saturday last at noon, (’resent: Messrs Forrest (in the chair), J. P. Thomson, and J. J. Smith. The rates collected for the year ending June 30th were £312 2s Id, upon which the hoard received a subsidy of 10s in the £. Thos. Pennell was instructed to repair the banks at Crawford’s Gully, at an expense of not more than £4. The clerk was instructed to write to the Tamahere Board re the boundary, which the engineer to the board said was in the centre of the old stream that had been diverted. A circular from the Waikato Political Reform Association was read. A cheque for £25 was drawn in favour of Mr J. Arnold, for the land taken by the deviation of the road at Backhand's cornermen the Hamilton road. The following accounts were passed T. Pennell, £5 1 Is (id ; T. 6. Sandos. £2 2s ; T. Wattam, £3 5s 6d. Tills closed the business.
