Notice is hereby given that at a MEETING of the Waipa County Conned to be held at Ohaupo on TUESDAY, August 9th, ISS7, the following resolution will he brought up for confirmation “That the Waipa County Council make application to Government for a loan of £2OOO, under clause 16 of “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1886,”. for the purpose of paying off the present overdraft at the Bank of New Zealand and existing liablities, and also to consolidate the loans already obtained. Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Tuhikaraniea Road Board, at a meeting to be held on Wednesday, August 3rd, 1887, to MAKE a GENERAL RATE of three-farthings in the pound for the period commencing on the first day of April, 1887, and terminating on the 31st day of March, 1888, to be payable in one sum on the 4th day of August, 1887.
