Messrs W.m. Incurs & Bon Retort for the week ending July Ist Fat C.vrn.K.—There was a good number at Ilomcbnsb on Monday, 1011 being yarded. The majority of these were medium and inferior, which mot with a dull and dragging sale, prime remaining at last week’s rates. The highest average for bullocks was fora lot of MO from Uelcomyn, Queensland, that made £0 11s lOd, another lot of 89 also from Queensland, averaging £0 10s 9d. To-day (Thursday) the number was only moderate, 743 being yarded, the majority again being from the northern colony, and nil qualities represented. The market hardened as the sale progressed, with a slight advance in best quality, though quotations remain very low. The highest average for a largo lot was £7 Is 2d for a draft of 10!) bullocks from Thargomindab, another lot from Tincnboro, 111, making £5 13s. At our Sydney yards this afternoon soles were fairly brisk. Wo quote— Best beef ... 15s per lOClbs Fair ... " His . „ Middling... ... ■ .i. 14s „• ■ ' Wo also sold since last report, at Darling Harbour. (iO bodies beef at prices ranging from l.Jd to 2|d per-lb. Sheet.—There baa been a good number forward, 10,300 being in on Monday, and 13,300 to-day. The market was unaltered on the former occasion, but to-day, owing to the largo number forward, prices gave way from fid to ,1s per head. A small lot of Merino wethers sold by ns from Gundaroo topped the market. The largest sales were 1300 wethers, Tistorsel Downs, 7s 7 ’ to Os 3d ; 1300 ewes from Fmly, 7s 9d to f s lid ; 1400 wethers from Wingadeo, 9s H i to 11s ; and 1200 wethers from Derowie, 9s to 9s 9d. We quote— Best wethers 10s Cd to 12s Good 8s lid to 9d (Id Others from lls up. Lamiis.—A Ito number came to band this week, both at Sydney and Homebush, and prices were lower.
