ELECTION ITEMS.
Mil J. A. Tou!, Minister of Justice, addressed the electors of the old district of Eden on Thursday night, and received a vote of, confidence. He announced his intention to stand for Newton. M_v Dargarvile has obtained a vote of confidence at Waipu. Major Jackson is to have opposition for M aipa after all. Mr Thos. Campbell, of Razorback, announces that be is coming forward and will shortly address meetings at the various centres in the district.
