[BY TELEGRAPH.—CiOPYGHT.] (IIEI'TKU's TELEGRAMS. London, June 28. It is expected that Parliament will • prorogue in the middle of August. June 27. ' One hundred and sixteen Heads, Fellows, and Professors of the Colleges of Oxford and Cambridge have presented an address to the Marquis of Ilartiugton approving of Unionism, and condemiiing Mr Gladstone and obstruction. In the House of Commons to-day, Mr John Morley moved that the operation of the Irish Crimes Bill be limited to three years. After debate the motion was rejected by 180 to 119 votes. Mr Gladstone supported Mr Morley's proposals. Calcutta, June 27. Latest advices from Cabul report that the Ghilzai rising against the Ameer is rapidly collapsing. Numbers of the insurgents are returning to their homes. >. The announcement made yesternay by the Morning Post regarding the attitude alleged to have been assumed by France and Russia towards Turkey in connection with the Egyptian Convention, and the action of the Porte with regard to the Cyprus ! Convention, are declared to be utterly without foundation. In the House of Commons, last night, Sir J. Fergusson, UnderSecretary for Foreign Affairs, announced, in reply to a question, that the Porte had strongly desired to postpone the ratification of the Egyptian Convention until Monday next, and the Imperial Government had assented to the postponement.
