Mr Knox BlCforts The attendance on Saturday was very large, and competition spirited. The following prices were realised ;—Mutton, to 3d per lb ; beef, 2d to 3d per lb; hares, Is 5d each ; turkey.*, low in condition, Is lOd each; fowls, inferior, 7d each ; fowls, dressed, Is 4d to Is 6d each ; ducks, Is each ; onions, 2d per lb; apples, 2d per lb; butter, 10.\d per lb ; potatoes, 3s 6d per cwt. ; pig ditto, 2s per sack ; tea. Is 6d per lb; apple trees, 7d to la 6d each; plums, 8d to lOd oacli; pear trees, 7d to 9d each ; saddle and bridlo, 45s ; crockery fetched good prices ; carrots, 3s per sack.—Thero wore seventy-fivo distinct purchasers.
