Mr Alfred Buckland's Weekly Report.—At the Haymarket, on Friday, 17th, June, fodder was brought forward in full nuantitv. priced ranged from 2a 6d to 3s <5d the cWt ; chaff, £3 17s Gd and £4 ; bran, £4 ; 10s ; carrots, £3 the ton } oats, Is 9d to 2s j 3d ;'in:uze, 3s 3d to 3s 4d the bushel, . Atj the' hoi'Bo Balo, stock were generally of an inferior class, no alteration in values. The; waggonnetteadvertised.brought£3o; spring; cart, £0 10s. Consequent on the holidays, j the hide and skin sale was postponed to] Tuesday next. At Rehntehi on Thursday,; dairy cattle were at lower values. Store cattle were also dull of sale. Fat cattle in; average number, but better than quality, sold freely, and fully maintained, last week's values. Prices were steady,' between 18s and 20s the lOOlbs, and were higher at end of sale than at beginning. ; Aged ewes, in lamb, brought S3 each. Fat sheep in full numbers, obtained a slight, advance over last week's values, and were worth the lb ; hoggets, 8s to lis each. Calves at extreme values. Pigs were also .numerous, and sold freely, and by private "sale 28 acres land at Papatoctoe, £26 an, acre. , ■. Messrs Hunter and Nolan's Report. Horse-feed, seeds and grain : There has been no noteworthy alteration in value. A steady demand has existed for oats at 2s 3d. Horses: There has been more vitality in themarketthan has been the case for some weeks, and a good many low priced animals changed owners at a slight advance on the previous week's values. About the usual number were submitted by auction at the Durhadi Yards on Friday. Competition was steady throughout the sale, and most of the lots were cleared at a shade better values than have been obtained for the last two weeks, and young active horses of moderate weights, for either draught or saddle, would have found purchasers at higher prices than have been ruling lately. Wool, hides and skins have been brought forward in moderate quantities, and a steady demand has existed at the previous week's valuer Owing to the holidays there Was no auction; sale at the Durham Yards this weak/ Cattle: The number of fat beasts brought forward has been an average one, but dairy and store stock were not so numerous as usual. There was » slight adyanca in the value of well-fatted oxen, in which but few indifferently fatted participated. The Newmarket sale was held on Wednesday on account of the Jubilee celebrations, and, as is usual on change of days, tie supply was below the average. There was a spirited demand throughout, and dairy and fat stock advanced in value, although tho fluctuation in the latter ranged from 17s to 22s per 1001b. Sheep: A limited number were yarded at Newmarket on Tuesday, and consequently prices were above market rates. ■ Pigs: A limited number were again yarded. There remained an unsatisfied deroand for-good porkers. ___i.
