This Queen his been photographed in : State dress .by M. VValery (Count Ostrcvog), and, says the World, a rare chrf-<T muvrc it is. M. VValery has invented a ne.v process to raike the photograph look exactly like an etching, and so pleased was her Majesty with the picture that she ordered quite a number to be sent after her to Aix-les-Bains. Jt speaks volumes for the popularity of the Queen outside England that a numb', v of continental papers have asked M. VValery to let them have this new portrait, because they intend to publish a special edition on the day of the Jubilee with the portrait of her Majesty as a supplement.
