[BY TELEGUArH—PKEBS ASSOCIATION.] NAPIER, Thursday. The residence of Mr K. Weelwood, near Hastings, was totally destroyed by fire last night. The house ami furniture were insured in the South British office for £•2000. The house was the handsomest in the district, and was splendidly furnished. The loss over insurances is JEIoOO. Owing to the calm state of the weather the stables wore saved.
