FIRE AT CAMBRIDGE.

A HOUiiK near S. Andrew's Church, occupied by Mr James McFarlane, was destroyed by fire on Thursday night. The fire occurred through one of McFarlano's daughters having- placed a lighted candle on the mantelpiece, which set fire to sonic paper ornaments during her absence fioni the room. When she returned the nde and top of the room wero on fire, and it spread so rapidly that t.nly a portion of the furniture could be saved.
