He likewise indicates that the Ministry will maintain a firm foreign policy, combined with prudence. The Radical members of the Chamber already evince hostility towards the new Ministry. Paris, May 30 (Night). General Boulanger, late Minister for War, issued a farewell order to-day, in which he urges upon the Army fidelity to the law and constitution. M. Perron, the new Minister for War, on assuming office, also issued an order, in which he declares his intention to pursue the same policy of military reform as adopted by his predecessor, and further devote himself to increase the defensive forces of the country.
