CONSECRATION OF S. PETER'S CHURCH.

On Monday next tho Bishop of tho Diocese will consecrate the Church of S. Peter, Hamilton. The ceremony will commence at 11 a.m., at which hour the Bishop and clergy, in procession, will leave the vestry, followed by the choirmen, members of the Vestry, Ciiureh Society, and a number of parishioners whose connection with the church dates from an early period. At the north porch the Bishop will be met by the Wardens, who will present a petition that the church may be consecrated. The Bishop havin&r signified his consent, the procession will eiitnr the church, the clergy and choirmen sinking the 24th Psalm. On reaching the chancel, the Bishop proceeds with the special service, and the Deed of Consecration bavins; been signed by him will be read by his chancellor. Morning Prayer will then be said, with special Psalms and Lessons, after which Holy Communion will be celebrated, the Bishop being celebrant, and the Rev. James Marshall will preach. The service will bo choral throughout, the Communion Office being sung to Berthold Tours' music. In the afternoon his Lordship the Bishop, the clergy, and other visitors will be entertained at luncheon at Gwynne's Hotel.
