The Gem won the Flying Stakes ; Harold the Hack Flat Race ; Orient the Wanganui Handicap Steeplechase ; Allegro the Handicap Steeplechase; Maminga the Consolation Handicap Steeplechase and Laurel the Winter Oats Handicap. Dunedin J,C Birthday Meeting. The two principal events at the above meeting, namely the Provincial Handicap and the Tradesmen's Handicap, were won by the Hon. G. McLean's Mokoia and Mr H.
