He expressed his high opinion of .commercial position and prospects of Auckland. Ho left for 'Frisco in the Alainada to-night.. Burglary. Tho house of Father O'Harn, parish priest, Otahuliu,; was robbed of £24 while he was conducting service yesterday. The Village Settlement- • The Government has issued a circular, offering to • supply village settlers with fruit trees on certain terms. No Bettler is to receive more than fifty trees. Arrest of a Supposed Burglar. A man named' Hy. George Shelby has been arrested on' a number of charges of burglary in the suburbs.
