AUSTRALIAN. + [heutkr's telegrams.] [Received April -Itli. 2.30 p.m.] Sydney, Monday. It is understood that the Pcst-masler-General is favourable to a reduction being made in New South Wales and Victoria on Press messages to and from New Zealand, so as to assimilate the charges of the three colonies interested. Brisbane, Monday. The decrease in the revenue for the past quarter is principally due to the falling off of the Customs and land receipts.
