Ohaupo. This match took.place on Saturday last at Ohaupo, when Cambridge played two men short and suffered a signal defeat, which was in a great measures attributable to the extras caused by bad longstopping. The Cambridge men did not play in their usual style, some'of the fielding being , very loose ; while on the other hand Ohaupo had the assistance of some good Tuhikaramea men, , and on the whole played well together. This thrashing will no doubt do the Cambridde team good and will put them on their mettle. We shall look forforward with interest to the return match, which is to be played at Cambridge on the 26' th when a good try will be made to "turn the tables."
