Re-port.-At tho Hnymnrko-t on .Friday, March 4, Fodder si'ld freely und brought from Ss to 4s Gd per cwt ; chuff, £4 to £4 10s per ton ; outs were also in better inquiry many hundred saekssold, prices ranged from Is 10d to 2s lid per bushel. Horse stock were fairly represented. Light harness raived from £7 to £10 ; medium draught up to £17 ;no heavy draught sold. Dogcart, £8 10s; buggy, £50, were the prices obtained. At the'special sale hold at the residence of Mr MeCaw, Maimrowa, there was a full attendance of the neighbours, and a good inquiry for goods of all kinds, particularly the farm implements and horses. At the regular monthly sale at Wamku, there was a full muster of cattle, particularly calves and springers. Trices were moderate. xU the wool, hide, aud skm sale. on Tuesday, hides were pitched in full numbers and met with a brisk inquiry at full rates. Ox-hides, up to 4.V ; cow hides, 3 : 5 ' per lb ; calfskins, 4i ; pelts, from 8d to Is lOd ; skins, 4s 7d to 3s lid each; wool to 7jd ; tallow, 13s to 13s (id per cwt. At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cattle were moderate in number and quality ; prices without alteration. Fat cattle in average number, and better than usual quality, sold freely at a slight advance. Fat sheep : Abundant, and of excellent quality, barley maintained late values. Calves and lambs sold more freely. Store pigs. Abundant and dull of sale, but porkers were in demand, and maintained their price. Messrs Hunter and Nolan's Report.Horse feed and seeds wore, in brisk demand ; oat*, at 2s 3d per bushel; pollard, 4s Cd per 1001b ; rye grass, 5s per bushel. Horses : There was an improvement in the demand, but very few good animals were brought forward. There was no noteworthy alteration in value. The number submitted by auction at the Durham Yards on Friday was up to the average. Competition was brisker throughout the sale than in he previous week, and for small animals there was an advanced price given, but nothing startling. Wool, hides, and skins; No noteworthy alteration. Demand for good heavy ox hides brisk. We quote : Ox, 4d to sgd ; medium, 3d to 3W per lb ; cowhides, 2r' t to 3i per tt>; calfskins, 3d£ to 4\d per lb; pelts,""(>d to each 8d each, skins Is 3s 3d. Cattle: There has baen a steady demand and average supply, resulting m a slighty upward tendency in value. Less than average number were yarded at Newmarket on Tuesday, but there was a fair muster at Pukekohe on Wednesday. There has been little alteration in value for any description, fat beasts were barely a shade higher than the previous week ; store and dairy stock unaltered. Sheep were in moderate muster at Newmarket on Tuesday, and prices ruled the same as on the previous week, Wethers were sold at from 8s 6d to 12s, ewes 6s Gd 10s ; lambs were in adequate supply, and sold at from Gs 9d to lis 5d ; pigs scarce, worth l£d to 3d per lb live weight.
