Anderson, Christehurch, £57,858 17s. Declined : —W. G. Bassett, Auckland, £58,038; John Britten and Co., Auckland, £61,100; Alexander and Macfane, Wanganui, £02,0.18 4s; Foughy and Darrow, Auckland, £03,773 10s 2d ; Edgar and Co., Auckland, £09,583 8s Gd ; D. Fallon. Auckland, £09,045 7s 5d ; Coates and Metcalfe, To Awamutu, £74,289 2s 5d ; Reid and Co., Auckland, £78,822. Lovett, White and Co., Auckland, accepted, but declined to take up.
