« [BY TKLEGRAI'H.— I'JUCSS ASSOCIATION. 1 Wellington, Monday. The Minister of Justice sprained his ancle in alighting from a carriage to-day. Hβ will be confined to his house for some time. It is stated there in a hitch regarding Mr Waterhonso's appointment to tne acting Bpeakership of the Legislative Council. The Constitution Act Interpretation Act 1878, and the standing orders are in conflict. The Government will have the subject under consideration.
