The particular works proposed to I be undertaken :—Forming and Making a Road through a portion of the Patetere Riding, the said road commencing at a point on the boundary line between the Matamata and Patetere Ridings, in Okauia Block No. la, No. 4, thence to a point on the Thames Valley Road in th N.W. part of Okauia No. Ib, thence towards the southern boundary of the said Patetere Riding. 2. The sum proposed to be borrowed for such purpose is £1500. 3. It is proposed to pledge as security for such Loan a "Special Rate " of one-fourteenth part of a penny in the £, upon all rateable property (exclusive of Crown and Native Lands), within the Patetere Riding, such rate to be an annually recurring rate, and to be payable every year for a period of twenty-six years.
