[BY TELEGRAPH.— TRESS ASSOCIATION.] Port Chalmers. Friday. On the passage of the ship Thurso from Mauritius a seaman died from supposed fish-poisoning, having eaten shark. The steward also was attacked, but is now convalescent. The second officer partook of some of the fish without any serious consequence. The Health Officer has placed the ship in quarantine.
