Up to the present 129 members have been returned to the Reichstag, eighty-seven being supporters of the Government. In the different electorates throughout Germany, the Opposition lost heavily. [Received February 23rd, 11.15 a.m. J. Berlin, February' 22. The election of the Reichstag commenced to-day. Partial returns show that the GoYernmemVhas been defeated in this city, for which two Socialists were returned, and at Hamburg three more were elected. ; The Socialists everywhere gained ground.
