Mooro were nominated yesterday for the Ohinemuri Licensing Committe. All but Mr Cock .ire moderate. THE LATEST. [by telegraph.-- own correspondent.] Paeroa, Friday. It is reported that an infant son of Mr Barnard McDonnell, of the Katikati Hotel, was drowned last evening in the Uretara River. The body was discovered this morning. The 104ozs return for the Monastery, Karangahake, 23 tons is regarded as firstclass, and is equal to the most sanguine expectations. The bullion will probably be worth 15s per oz.
