THE GAM POISONING CASE.
♦ [by telegraph.—press association. I Christchorch, Monday. Thomas Hall, who arrived from Dunedin by the Koranui yesterday, appears now to feel. his position. A great change has taken place in him since be left Lyttelton to stand his trial for Cain's murder. It is stated that he confessed to the warder in charge of him during the voyage that he was guilty of attempting- to poison his wife, but he is said to still maintain his innocence in connection with the murder of Captain Cain.
