Ma Aiii-nun Bucklano's Wkkkia Rk-1-ouT.—At the Huy market on Friday, January 28, fodder was in moderate supply, and sold at last week's values, varying with quality from 2s I'd to 3s (id per o*vt; oats, :2s M per bushel. Horse stock was fairly represented, but sales were limited to light harness and riding stock. There was no alteration in values. A full nmster «)f hnlos, skins and wools was offered on Tuesday: Hides sold freely ; the greater number brought from 3£d to-ijjd perlb; calfskins. 4-j-ti; slieep pelts, from 3d to Is (id each ; aiid wool, from b'|d to 7}d per lb. At the Pukekohe cattle sale, held on Monday, there was a full muster of stock of all classes, and a better demand than could have been expected from the dry weather; very few passed and prices were fairly satisfactory. At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cattle sold more freely than of late ; store cattle, at late values; fat cattle, of good quality, were bettor worth, but coarse animals and cows were at late values; sheep maintained their previous values, and lambs recovered the value lost at last market; pigs continue at the low values lately ruling. Messrs Hunter and Nolan's Weekly Repout.— Horses: The market has continued moderately active, with no perceptible alteration in value. An average number were submitted by auction at the Durham Yards on Friday, "and found purchasers at about the previous week's values. No horses of a really good stamp were entered, consequently no high figures were reached. Wool, hides and skins : Supply was rather limited at the Durham Yards on Tuesday. Competition was steady, at from 3id to 4id for ox hides, and 2id to 3Jd for cow hides ; sheepskins, from Is to 3s 3d ; greasy wool, from old to 7d; kmbswool, 7d to 7£d. Cattle :~There was rather a short muster of fat cattle on Tuesday, and a moderate supply of store and dairy cows, and at the Papakura Yards on Wednesday the yards were well filled with all descriptions of store cattle, there being no noteworthy change in the value of any description of stock, fat cattle remaining at last week s quotations. Sheep were in adequate numbers, and remained firm at last week s values ; wethers sold at from 9s to 11s (id ; mixed sexes, from 8s to 9s 6d ; lambs were yarded in moderate numbers and sold from 4s to 10s Gd. Pigs : There was a good muster of an average class, with no alteration in price, prices being distinctly in favour of purchasers.
