THE MOUNT RENNIE OUTRAGE.
y (BY- TELEGRAPH.-COPYRIGHT.) [hkutkr's telegrams.] Sydney, Januara 0. Newman, one of the prisoners smite,need to death for the Mount. Rennie outrage, has huen reprieved, in consequence of an exculpatory letter written by Dutfy, who is -irnong those sentenced to death. Hill Ims also been reprieved. He and Newman have been committed to imprisonment in iron* for life. The other four—Duff, B"ace, Martin, and Read—will be executed tomorrow morning. THE LATEST. EXECUTION OF TIIE CONVICT*. The Mount Rennio convicts wero execute] at Darlin*hurst gaoljat 9 o'clock this morning. About 150 persons were present. Read handed a written statement declaring the innocence of himself and those reprieved, except Donnpllin. There was no demonstration in or outside the gaol. Of the four men hanged, Biyce died the hardest, the struggles of tho others being brief.
