(by telegraph—own correspondent.] Arrival of the Rimutaka. Auckland. Monday Night. The Rimutaka arrived to-day from London. Prize Firing. At the rifle association 'firing to-day the scoring in Whitney's prize match was rather unfavourable to < Auck-iand-nude cartridges, although the day 'V;«s ; 'favourable for shooting. Corporal Lucas, of the Thames, and Corporal Parslow of A. Baley, both champions last year fired with ammunition in the last match, the former making a score of >nly 13 and the latter 1G out of a possible 70. The highest score was 23, only 11 men reaching dou'jle figures out of 60 competitors.
